ROTF movie Jetfire Custom

Hi guys, It has been quite awhile. Up for bidding on ebay is our ROTF movie Jetfire custom. We added articulation to his fingers and some LED lights. Here he is :

GRIMLOCK G1 Cartoon Vintage Masterpiece Custom

Our very first custom is my favorite character Grimlock in all of his g1 cartoon glory. Grimlock was, is and will always be my favorite of all the transforemers character. I couldn't wait to see Grimlock back then and everytime I think of this figure I still can't believe we made him.

So here's the lowdown on what we did:

We basically wanted him to look like the way he did in those g1 cartoon episodes and the paint in this figure perfectly captures the nostalgia of the 80's. If you've been a fan of transformers from way back than, you'll know what I mean.

We painted him with flat black automotive urethane base coat for a strong and durable finish and we gave him his glossy yellow torso. I personally disliked the gold torso.

We also gave him a flat silver urethane paint on his arms to highlight the details around it.

We also took away some of the metallic chrome shimmers on his tail because we wanted him to look a bit rugged like the Grimlock that we've come to love all these years. Let me know what you guys think and you can check him out on ebay:
